Ric Martin Incorporated is a boutique law firm headquartered in Pretoria East with a service address in Sandton. The firm represents a wide range of clients – among them listed entities – and has a history of litigating in matters previously reserved for the large corporate law firms.
Ric Martin Inc. prides itself on being a small firm with a big firm mentality. We provide our clients with a level of service they demand at competitive rates. An added advantage is that clients have direct access to Directors Ric Martin and Celeste Wathen who are both key to the management of all projects.
Established in 2014 by founding Director Ric Martin, the firm was later joined by Director and Chairperson Celeste Wathen. Together they are assisted by a Senior Consultant, and three Associates, and Candidate Attorneys.
Ric Martin Inc. covers a wide range of practice areas but specialises in niche services relating to insurance law, and medical malpractice. Currently the firm represents two of the three major hospital groups in South Africa. To ensure it maintains its reputation of excellence Ric Martin Inc. has fostered strong business relationships with other professionals and has access to specialists in a variety of fields. The firm has a small group of highly experienced counsel which it briefs and who it considers part of the well-oiled machine that constitutes Ric Martin Incorporated.
The firm is constantly growing and expanding, and we encourage legal professionals within our areas of expertise, but also from other fields of law, to join our team.

Our goal is to have offices throughout the region in the next five years which, we believe, will provide us a gateway to Europe, the USA, and the Far East. Ric Martin Inc. distinguishes itself by empowering its professionals to become leaders in their areas of expertise. Our goal is to have alumni in the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court of Appeal, and in all Courts of Law across the jurisdictions where we practice.
