Ric Martin Incorporated is a boutique law firm with its roots in Pretoria but with a footprint both nationally and beyond South Africa’s borders. The firm represents a wide range of clients, spanning the spectrum from private individuals to listed entities, and has a history of litigating in matters of a nature that had previously been considered the reserve of large corporate law firms.
Ric Martin Incorporated prides itself on being a small firm with a big firm mentality. We provide our clients with the level of service they demand, at competitive rates. Accessibility is as important to us as it is to our clients, with clients having direct access to Directors Ric Martin and Celeste Wathen who are both key to the management of all projects.
Established in 2014 by founding Director Ric Martin, the firm was later joined by Director and Chairperson Celeste Wathen. Together they are assisted by two Associates, and a number of Candidate Attorneys.
Ric Martin Incorporated provides a wide range of legal services but specialises in niche fields including insurance law and medical law. Currently the firm represents two of the three major hospital groups in South Africa. To ensure it maintains its reputation of excellence Ric Martin Incorporated has fostered strong relationships with members of other professions and has access to specialists in a variety of fields. The firm has also identified a core of highly experienced counsel in its various specialist fields of practice, who it considers part of the well-oiled machine that constitutes Ric Martin Incorporated.

Ric Martin Incorporated has embarked on a journey of expanding its presence in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region and we regularly render services to clients in Namibia and Botswana. Our goal is to have offices throughout the SADC region within the next ten years. Our expansion drive is intended to ultimately establish ourselves in the European, North American and Far Eastern legal markets.
